Best locksmiths in Rockingham, Baldivis and Port Kennedy (2026)
Table of Contents

Thirteen locksmith listings cover the coast from Rockingham through Baldivis, Port Kennedy and Secret Harbour. Three of them can be ranked. The pattern is the same one that has run through every locksmith page on this site and it is sharper here than anywhere: the businesses with the biggest review records in this catchment publish no street address, so they cannot be placed in a suburb and cannot be listed. Three licensed operators with no address outscore the one ranked first. All of that is set out below, name by name, rather than left implied.
Want this position?
The highest weighted score on this coast belongs to Carney’s Locksmiths, licensed and rated 5.0 from 166 reviews, and it is absent from the list purely because no street address is published. Seaside Lock and Safe Services and All Star Lock and Key are in the same position, and both also outscore the operator ranked first. A paid placement is the route onto the page for a mobile business that cannot prove a suburb any other way.
See placement optionsPrestige Lock Service

Trading from 3/3 Fielden Way, Port Kennedy, rated 4.8 from 286 reviews, the largest verifiable review record on this coast. The register entry reads Prestige Lock Service, agent Cara Russell, licence 48250. That licence number is the most interesting thing on this page. It carries eight registered trading names: Prestige Lock Service plus seven Baldivis variants, from Baldivis Locksmiths to Baldivis Master Locksmith to Baldivis Mobile Locksmith. All eight are one business. Weighted 4.7228, ahead of second place by 0.2137.
View listingDC Lock and Key Baldivis

At 17 Berryman Terrace, Baldivis, rated 4.6 from 10 reviews, holding licence 58649 as DC Lock and Key, agent Dylan Cunningham. Two things have to be said plainly. The review record is small, ten reviews against 286 for first place, and the weighting is deliberately cautious with small samples, which is why it still lands below a shopfront with far more history. And this is the same operator behind the Success and Attadale profiles that appear on our Fremantle page, all three carrying the phone number 0406 421 761. Three profiles, one business. The counts are never added together. Weighted 4.5091.
View listingBullAnt Security

At 2/35 Dixon Road, Rockingham, rated 4.5 from 44 reviews, holding licence 35990 as Bullant Security Pty Ltd, agent Sean Johnstone. Google files this one under security system supplier rather than locksmith, which is the kind of label that usually gets a business cut from these pages. It is included because the review topics on its own listing are padlocks, lock rekeying, lock repairs and key cutting, which is locksmithing whatever the category says. The distinction is worth knowing before you call: this is a Rockingham shop that also fits alarms, not a mobile lockout service. Weighted 4.5000, behind second place by 0.0091, which is a narrow margin and the order between these two carries little information.
View listingHow the order was decided
Licence before rating. Every name here was checked against the Western Australia Police Force list of current licence holders, Organisations, as at 7 September 2026. A business with no entry is not ranked, regardless of its score. That list carries no street address, so it settles the licence question and nothing else.
Locality from coordinates, not from the business name. Each address was opened as a place on Google Maps and read from the coordinates on the resulting page. A name with a suburb in it proves nothing, and on this coast that matters more than usual, because one operator has registered seven suburb keyword trading names.
The three that outscore the list
Three licensed operators score higher than the business ranked first and are not on the list, for one reason each time: no published street address, so no suburb can be confirmed.
- Carney’s Locksmiths, 5.0 from 166 reviews, licence 55038 — weighted 4.8120, the highest score in the sweep.
- Seaside Lock and Safe Services, 5.0 from 127 reviews, licence 57955 — weighted 4.7797.
- All Star Lock and Key, 5.0 from 81 reviews, licence 56043 — weighted 4.7238, ahead of first place by a single point in the fourth decimal.
None of that is a criticism of the ranked three. It is what happens when a trade is mostly mobile and a directory has to prove a suburb before it prints one.
The rest of the sweep
- Krazy Keys, 4.7 from 431 reviews — by a wide margin the biggest review record on this coast, and no entry could be found in the Organisations register under any spelling tried. It publishes no address either. Reported as at 7 September 2026; that is a statement about a register, not about the business.
- Master Lock Service 5.0 (50), licence 39858, and Anchored Lock Service 5.0 (45), licence 55606 — both licensed, neither publishes an address.
- Mobile Locksmiths W.A, 4.9 from 27 reviews — no address and no register entry found.
- Uneeda Locksmiths, 4.4 from 7 reviews — no address, and the register carries the name twice under two different licences, 52825 and 26264, so which one is current cannot be settled from the listing.
- Sypher Locksmiths, 5.0 from 4 reviews — below the review floor and no register entry found.
- Mister Minit Stockland Baldivis 4.3 (78) and Secret Harbour 4.2 (52) — cut on trade. Google lists both as shoe repair shops.
One licence, eight trading names
Licence 48250 is held by Cara Russell. Against that single number the register lists eight trading names: Prestige Lock Service, Baldivis Locksmiths, Baldivis Auto Locksmiths, Baldivis City Locksmiths, Baldivis Emergency Locksmith, Baldivis Home and Automotive Locksmith, Baldivis Master Locksmith, and Baldivis Mobile Locksmith.
Search for a locksmith in Baldivis and several of those names can come back looking like separate businesses competing for your job. They are one business. This page ranks the licence once, under the trading name that matches the shopfront, and never adds review counts across names. It is legal and it is common, but it is worth knowing before you ring what looks like a second opinion.
The licence classes that decide who does the work
Read off the WA Police types of security licences page, last updated 8 May 2026. The classes below are the Security Installer classes set by Regulation 27.
| Licence | Category | What it means when you call one |
|---|---|---|
| Security Agent | Agent | Authorises a business to advertise and supply security services, or to employ people who hold non-agent licences. An installer who is self-employed or subcontracting under their own ABN must hold one. That is why a genuine sole trader locksmith appears in the Organisations register at all. |
| Security Installer Class 1 | Non-agent | Install, maintain and repair safes, vaults and locks of a kind prescribed in Regulation 6. |
| Security Installer Class 2 | Non-agent | Install, maintain and repair security alarms, closed circuit television for security purposes, and equipment prescribed in Regulation 8. |
| Security Installer Class 3 | Non-agent | Install, maintain and repair security doors as prescribed in Regulation 7. |
| Security Installer Class 4 | Non-agent | Install locks of a kind referred to in Regulation 6. |
One line on that page catches most people out, and it is quoted here word for word: the Security Installer licence does not apply to installers of security equipment in vehicles, vessels or aircraft. Car key work sits outside this licence entirely, which is why a car key specialist can be perfectly legitimate and still have no entry in the register that this page uses as its gate. Judge an automotive locksmith on something else.
Before you call anyone
- Ask for the licence number and check it yourself. The WA Police list of current licence holders is published as a PDF and is free to search. A business that will not give you a number is telling you something.
- Ask whether the price quoted is the price at 2am. Callout, after hours and weekend loadings are where locksmith quotes move most, and they are rarely on a website.
- Ask whether they attend or subcontract. On a coast this mobile, the van that arrives is not always the business you rang.
- For a car key, ask about your exact model before booking. Programming equipment differs by make, and this is the one job where the security licence tells you nothing.
- For a rental, check with the owner before changing anything. Lock changes on a tenanted property usually need the lessor’s agreement, and a locksmith cannot give you that.
Questions
If Carney’s Locksmiths scores highest, why is it not number one?
Because this page will not print a suburb it cannot prove. Carney’s is licensed, holds licence 55038, and is rated 5.0 from 166 reviews, which works out to a weighted 4.8120, the best score in the sweep. Its Google listing publishes no street address, so there is no way to confirm it is based on this coast rather than servicing it from elsewhere. Ranking it anyway would mean guessing, and a guess dressed up as a ranking is worse than an honest gap. Seaside Lock and Safe Services and All Star Lock and Key sit in exactly the same position.
Rockingham to Secret Harbour is a long strip. Is this really one area?
For this trade, yes. Every ranked business here is mobile within the same coastal run, the drive from Dixon Road to Fielden Way is about fifteen minutes, and the three shopfronts sit in a line along it. Splitting it would leave two pages of one operator each, which is padding. The suburb of each ranked business is printed on its card so you can judge the distance yourself.
Mandurah has locksmiths too. Why do they not appear here?
Because Mandurah is a separate catchment and it did not produce enough verifiable operators for its own page. Two clear the licence and address test there, not three, so rather than pad this page southwards it has been left alone and said so.
Is a business missing from the register doing anything wrong?
Not necessarily, and this page does not say it is. A locksmith can be an employee of someone else’s licensed business, in which case the employer appears in the Organisations list and the individual does not. Car key work sits outside the installer licence altogether. What is reported here is a checkable fact with a date on it: as at 7 September 2026, no entry was found. What that means in any individual case is a question for the operator, and asking them directly is reasonable.
Why does one business here have ten reviews and another 286?
Because the weighting is built to handle exactly that. A score is pulled towards the category average of 4.5 in proportion to how thin the evidence is, so ten reviews move a rating very little and 286 move it a long way. It is why a 4.6 from ten reviews lands below a 4.8 from 286 rather than above it, and why a perfect five from a handful of reviews never tops these pages.
Can a locksmith let me into my own house without proof it is mine?
Expect to be asked for identification and for something linking you to the address. A licensed operator has record keeping obligations to the Commissioner of Police under the Act, and a business that skips the check on a lockout is not doing you a favour.
Licensed, local, and not on this page?
Three operators here outscore the list on address alone.
